E 892 Truink Mount Stoplight Bulbs

GE 892 Truink Mount Stoplight Bulb 1987 through 1992 Models Trunk mounted stop light bulb is GE892 halogen for 1987 through 1992 model Allante's. Allantesource keeps this bulb in stock, since it is difficult to find. It comes with it's own base. When installing the new bulb, it is important not to touch the glass portion of the bulb with your fingers. Finger oil will shorten bulb life. To replace bulb, remove one screw from the trunk trim under the bulb, and pull back trim to expose bulb. Twist bulb counterclockwise to remove, then unclip electrical connrector. On new bulb, you will note alignment lugs. Clip new bulb to electrical connector, insert bulb into housing, and twist to lock. Often it is difficult to get bulb latched. Check alignment of lugs.
